We understand the importance of providing comprehensive support throughout this journey. Our services are designed to cater to individuals from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood, offering a full spectrum of assistance.

Be instrumental in a child's life.
Don Zablosky’s rational approach is known for its effectiveness in helping adults gain valuable insight into their circumstances and facilitating transformative changes in their lives. However, when it comes to working with children, Don Zablosky understands the importance of a tailored approach. He actively involves the significant adults in a child’s life, recognizing that their influence plays a crucial role in the child’s development. By engaging these adults, Don Zablosky creates an opportunity for them to gain a deeper understanding of the child’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges. Through this involvement, the significant adults acquire the necessary skills and strategies to positively influence the child’s behaviors and support their overall growth and well-being. Don Zablosky’s approach promotes collaboration and empowers adults to become instrumental agents of change in a child’s life.
Common Areas to Overcome:
What is the basis for your reaction? Maybe your reaction is valid, maybe not. We can look at the pattern of events to understand why you feel this way.
Addictions often begin as remedy, a quick-fix for something. It’s hard to give up something that worked so well in the past. Let’s backtrack and see what the original need was and see if it is still needed today. If so, we’ll find a more suitable option for you.
Do you keep finding yourself with the same type of person and the same unhappy ending? What is the pattern you keep following that repeatedly leads you back to the same place?
Things get more complicated as you add more people to the mix. Couples often find themselves in a tension-filled relationship with no idea how they got there. Each person should take a look at the relationship script they follow. Where did it come from? Does your partner know about your script. Do you know about theirs? Do the scripts conflict?

Common Areas to Overcome:
This is a rough time to try to define yourself. There are so many influences and not all are good. By sifting through the decisions to be made and the implied meaning of all the options, I can help you learn what you are hoping for and how you can go about defining yourself.
You are constantly changing as you inch toward adulthood. It’s tough to keep up with everyone’s shifting attitudes and expectations of you. Sometimes you need a little help to sort things out in your own head in order to make yourself clear to others.
This is the time to develop habits that will get you through your teenage years and on into the next part of your life. Make sure these habits are healthy and positive. Learn how to monitor your stress level. Learn relaxation techniques that will help you make it now and later.

The environment is the key to growth.

When working with children, the approach Don Zablosky takes differs from that with older individuals. Children are highly influenced by their environments, and it is through these environments that we can shape and guide them effectively. My focus extends beyond working solely with the child; Don actively engages with the family and caregivers, recognizing their pivotal role in a child’s development. By teaching behavioral skills to be implemented at home, we create a supportive and consistent environment. Redirecting children’s behavior at this stage does not solely rely on traditional teaching methods. Instead, we establish clear expectations through modeling positive behaviors and offering praise for their efforts. This approach benefits both children and adults, as it simplifies communication and creates a harmonious atmosphere conducive to growth and development. By emphasizing positive reinforcement and setting clear expectations, we pave the way for children to thrive and for caregivers to play an active role in their journey.

Common Areas to Overcome:
Don Zablosky’s mission is to create a safe haven for children, guiding them through the turbulent emotions that arise during these challenging times. Through empathetic and therapeutic techniques, we unlock the power of expression, allowing them to find their own unique ways of coping with change.
Grief is a journey that often feels overwhelming, especially for children who may struggle to articulate their emotions. Through carefully tailored sessions, Don Zablosky aims to equip young minds with coping mechanisms, empowering them to face the waves of grief and sadness head-on. Together, we discover the power of resilience, fostering a sense of hope that life can regain its sense of normalcy, albeit in a different way.
Don Zablosky offers a safe haven for children grappling with the distressing burden of bullying. Through open communication, mindfulness techniques, and personalized action plans, Don provides your children with the tools to assertively confront bullies and seek support from friends, family, and educators. In Don’s counseling sanctuary, children find the strength to flourish, transforming their pain into power, and embracing a future that is both vibrant and full of promise.
