Q and A:

A: Don Zablosky accepts Aetna, AmBetter, Baylor Scott & White, Behavioral Health Systems, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Evernorth, Humana Choice POS, Optum, Superior – Texas Foster Care, Texas True Choice, and United Health Care. Don will need to verify your insurance before your appointment to learn of your copay and if there is a deductible to pay. We also take some Employee Assistance Program (EAP) plans. Let us know the details of your plan so we can verify Don Zablosky is covered under your EAP. Those insurances posted are for Texas only. For those in New Mexico I need to verify each policy. I am approved for Lyra EAP.

A: Texas.  Self-pay is $150 per one-hour session.
New Mexico. Self-pay for virtual-only is $75 per one-hour session.
A: Don Zablosky matches theory and style to each client. There’s no single way to approach everyone. The best type of counseling helps each client to recognize how each session moves them towards their preferred outcome.
A: Associates are licensed therapists in the final stage of their training. Don Zablosky supervises their work, answers their questions, and offers suggestions about their clients. Associates typically have a lower rate. Numerous associates are available on the Casa Linda Wellness Associates website.
A: We meet for about 55 minutes each session.
A: We look at what is not right and then imagine what would be better looks like. Sometimes we need to take a look at past experiences to see how we got here. Overall, it’s understanding, planning, and problem-solving. The goal is always More Good – Less Bad.

A: Virtual, or telehealth, is done through Zoom. Virtual meetings are good for some issues and some people. There’s no traffic and we can schedule your appointment within your busy day. Virtual appointments aren’t good for children, they can be awkward for couples due to the limits of technology. We can talk about the pros and cons before we meet. Virtual only for those in New Mexico. Texas residents have the option of virtual or being seen in the Dallas office.
